About Me

  • Early 50s.

  • Type 1 Autistic (formerly known as “Asperger Disorder” until it was decided to stop using the name of a Nazi eugenecist to identify it) with Arrested Development Disorder;

  • Live alone south of Clermont, Florida, near Walt Disney World. Have been a passholder since 2008 (with a break while unemployed and after COVID-19) and continuously since 2021.

  • Christian since 1985 (but far from a perfect one, if what to follow is any suggestion). Gone between Catholic, Pentecostal, Evangelical, and most recently Reformed Baptist.

  • Married twice: 1998 – 2008 (one adoption, divorced), 2013 – 2016 (widowed).

  • Recovering porn addict (explains the divorce). Was involved for a time with Celebrate Recovery, but otherwise this failure has disqualified me from further public ministry outside of this site, and why some of the below involvements are noted as “briefly”. I had the training, the talent, and the calling, and squandered it.

  • Ministry involvements included:
    • Worship musician and multimedia technician (two churches in California);
    • Bible teacher in Second Life;
    • Podcaster (briefly);
    • Multimedia director for a national motorcycle rider ministry;
    • Prayer Coordinators and Host Couple for Marriage Encounter weekends (briefly);
    • Multimedia for a local Celebrate Recovery.
       
  • Other things I’ve been involved with or done over the years:
    • Self-published two albums of keyboard and programmed music in the mid-to-late-90s (both no longer available, but I still have the original recording files).
       

  • My day job is as a reporting analyst and developer.

  • I do a lot of personal informatics.
